“visiting Temples, I prefer Karnak over all other temples. I don't think Abu Simbel is not worth the 3 hour travel and early wake up. over all Nile River cruise is a wonderful experience specifically for 1st time traveller to Egypt. it's very educational, the guides are well versed on their craft. “The cruise was ok but not an excellent 5 star ship. The trips with guides were also ok but not excellent. Communication with guides before the trips was always late. The guide for Kom Ombo temple contacted us too late, so we had to search for him in the crowded temple. The Abu Simbel tour was disappointing. We booked a tour with a small group but we were linked with a touringcar and had to pick up 3 people with our minivan, from that touring car, which caused us more than an hour delay. There was no contact before the tour with our guide. We met him at Abu Simbel…”
