“Riding on a long boat was an experience. Be prepared to board on/off quickly as the river is choppy. Also be prepared for getting sprayed with water from the river. The driver did an excellent job navigating through the waves and other boats. He was able to point out sights to us and have short conversations in English. We did an evening ride, 6pm so it was cooler on the water. We stopped near a temple to feed the river catfish from the boat (fish food provided). Overall, we enjoyed the experience.”
