“I'd done an overnight trip through Ha Long Bay the day before so I was a bit worried I might be disappointed by this day tour. We had a stop at a store on the 2.5 hour drive from Ha Noi which was a lot smaller than the one we'd stopped at going to Ha Long Bay, but it also had things that were different. The history of Hoa Lu was great, as were the ancient pagodas, but I feel the tour guides in Vietnam are very long winded, as they do extensive lectures, with no visual context. I'm a school teacher and I'd suggest maybe a one page visual…”
