“Mixed feelings. Picked up from hotel in Panglao in very nice SUV driven by Jason who was wonderful. However the drive there is an hour as peak hour (6pm) and half an hour to get back. All this to spend 30 minutes on the river. Once you arrive you are then put on next available boat (apparently 5 boats that do the excursion, we were lucky only waited 10 minutes - there is an amazing ice cream stall there!!). Extremely noisy engine on boat so not exactly relaxing drift down the river. You stop at 3 different mango trees all a distance apart that have fireflies so those 3 moments…”
